FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Maldon & Tiptree FC Secures Registered Trademark Status

We are proud to announce that “Maldon & Tiptree Football Club” is now an officially registered trademark in the United Kingdom. The registration, effective as of 13th June 2025, has been granted by the UK Intellectual Property Office under trademark number UK00004177348.

This trademark secures our exclusive legal rights to the use of the club name and brand across three key categories: clothing and merchandise (Class 25), sporting equipment (Class 28), and sports, training and entertainment services (Class 41).

This milestone not only protects the integrity of our identity as a club but also lays a strong foundation for commercial growth, partnership development, and brand innovation. It affirms our commitment to professionalism and long-term sustainability both on and off the pitch.

BRAND USAGE POLICY

Maldon & Tiptree Football Club® Registered Trade Mark No. UK00004177348

This document sets out the policy governing the use of the Maldon & Tiptree FC brand and all associated intellectual property.

1. General Guidelines

The name “Maldon & Tiptree FC” and the club crest are protected under UK trademark law.
The use of the ® symbol is required where the registered name or logo is displayed.


2. Approved Usage
with written consent from a director of the company –

Official club merchandise and apparel.
Media coverage and editorial references.
Sponsorship and partnership materials, with written permission.
Club communications, advertising, and promotions.
Youth team usage is given by the club for use on all social media and uniform/kit, advertisments and social event promotion. Use is also granted for youth team website use. All media must now clearly show the ® symbol.
Authorisation is also granted to the “official” club association for use on social media, ® symbol must also be shown.

3. Prohibited Usage

Commercial reproduction or sale of merchandise without prior written consent.
Use of the name or logo in a way that misrepresents affiliation, approval, or endorsement.
Modification or distortion of the club crest or name.
Use of the name or badge of any kind without prior written approval.

4. Licensing & Requests To request permission for use, submit your request in writing to: [email protected] – Please include details of intended use, duration, and associated materials.

5. Enforcement Unauthorised use of the registered trademark will result in legal action, including but not limited to cease and desist orders, financial penalties, and possible litigation. If usage of the name and logo are used without prior written approval, you are agreeing to pay a usage fee of £1500 per time used and a 7 day payable invoice will be issued without delay.

All club passes must be shown on entry to the stadium.

The parking, turnstiles and Jammers Sports Bar are open from 12.30pm on a Saturday and 5pm on a midweek fixtures.

Disabled Access
2 parking spaces have been designated for use by disabled fans and can be found on the left hand side of the car park, opposite the turnstiles. Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis. Those using the spaces must display a valid disabled badge. Attendees looking to use the two allocated spaces are encouraged to arrive as early as possible, to avoid missing out. There is level access inside the stadium and an accessibility gate for those unable to enter through the turnstiles.

Disabled Toilets are also provided inside and outside of the clubhouse, along with level access to our seating areas, the refreshment hut and our clubhouse.

Currently, there is no accessible viewing platform within the stadium, however we are in the process of arranging stadium enhancements to provide an improved viewing area.

If you or a member of your party have specific needs and you would like to contact us in advance regarding your visit, please do so by emailing [email protected]. We will do our best to assist you in advance and also on the day of your attendance.

Carers accompanying disabled spectators will be entitled to free entry, should they contact the football club in advance by emailing [email protected]. Carers who attend without contacting the club in advance will be charged as a concession at the turnstiles.
