Brightlingsea Regent: Match Preview – 28 February 2026

This Saturday in the Isthmian League North, the Jammers face Brightlingsea Regent on Saturday the 28th February. Kevin Horlock’s side hope to keep the pressure on the league leaders, Felixstowe. The gap is now just 2 points with an 8-goal advantage over Felixstowe in terms of goal difference. The Jammers are coming into Saturdays game after settling for a point during midweek’s game against Stanway Rovers. Horlock’s side recorded a late equaliser to share the points, courtesy of Anisius Lewis, nonetheless, a point keeps the pressure on the league leaders. 

Brightlingsea Regent are currently sat in 11th place in the table and are looking to bounce back after a midweek away loss to Takeley.

Last Time Out

The away side won the last meeting at North Road earlier in the season in a 5-goal thriller, with the final score being 3-2 to the R’s. Cameron James and Freddie Sears getting the goals for the Jammers.

One to Watch

Jake Clowsley is Brightlingsea’s top scorer this season, but their second top scorer Daniel Rowe and he is another to keep an eye on- he scored against M&T last time out.

Getting to the ground and ticket information

The turnstiles will be open from 12pm, with the Jammers Sports Bar opening its doors at the same time. Kick-off is at 3pm. Ticket prices for this weekend are as follows:

Adults: ÂŁ10
Concessions: ÂŁ5
Under 16s: Free

With great support comes increased ticket demand so if you want to beat the queues and secure your tickets we encourage you to buy your tickets in advance via our website. Online ticket sales will end when the turnstiles open at 12pm, with all remaining tickets needing to be purchased at the turnstiles.

Please arrive well on time to the game for quick access into the ground. If you’re a regular visitor to the Drewitt-Barlow Stadium, you will know by now that parking is limited, with spaces reserved for players and officials, we encourage those who are able, to walk the stadium.

If you’re driving, we would encourage you to arrive early. If the car park is full, please be mindful of our neighbours, park sensibly and be kind to our Stewards.

After The Match

Live Premier League action will be shown in the sports bar after the game where Leeds host Manchester City, kicking off at 5:30pm. Feel free to grab a drink or two after the game from the bar, and enjoy the game.
