Easter Monday: Match Preview – 6 April 2026
On Easter Monday, the Jammers make the short trip down Market Hill as we enter the last 5 home games of the season, three of which being away from home. Kevin Horlock and his side will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the Isthmian North league table and extend their unbeaten streak.
The match could prove vital for the opposition who are currently avoiding relegation to the Essex Senior League on goal difference, the Jammers have the opportunity to collect three much needed points and relegate their neighbours at the same time. The team at the bottom of Market Hill need to win all their games and overturn a twenty-two goal difference deficit…
Whatever the wear, make sure you’re wearing your club colours with pride on Monday and BRING THE NOISE.

The Jammers have won the last couple of meetings between the two sides, including the 2025 Boxing Day clash at home in front of an impressed 1596 spectators- Cameron James scored the only goal of the game on that day.

Free Travel and Half Price Pints
Supporters of Maldon & Tiptree can take advantage of FREE coach travel to cheer the Jammers on this Easter Monday, 6th April 2026, as they take on Heybridge Swifts.
With 140 spaces available, fans should arrive at the Drewitt-Barlow Stadium from 12pm in order to secure their seat. Fans will be allocated a raffle ticket that should be use to access the bus before and after the game – it will be 1 ticket, per person on a first come, first serve basis. Those wishing to travel must attend the stadium to collect their ticket.
The option to book in advance has been removed, after an influx in suspicious reservations and now genuine supporters must attend in-person in order to secure their seat on the bus. There will only be 140 spaces available!
The club will be running two coach trips before the game and two return trips after, making it easy for everyone to travel down the hill. Fans wishing to travel on the bus will need to present a raffle ticket, per person.
- First departure:Â Approx. 2:00pm from the Drewitt-Barlow Stadium
- First return:Â 5:00pm, following the conclusion of the match
Whether you’re heading early or staying later, there will be flexible options to suit all supporters.
Some Jammers fans are walking down the Hill, planning to leave the DBS at around 1:15pm. Make sure you’re there nice and early, so you don’t miss the convoy…
Post Match Celebrations
The day doesn’t end at full-time! After the match, fans are invited back to the Jammers Sports Bar to enjoy:

The buffet will only be ÂŁ7.50 and the half-price pints offer will continue until the Jammers Sports Bar closes its doors later in the evening. So, don’t just enjoy the game, get yourself back to the JSB after and enjoy a drink with your fellow-Jammers supports.
After Monday
The Jammers return to the Drewitt-Barlow Stadium on Saturday 11 April, when Mildenhall Town are the visitors. There will be another opportunity to purchase your early bird season tickets, whilst VIP hospitality tickets for the match are currently on sale and can be purchased via our website.
