THE DREWITT BARLOW STADIUM

Since the takeover of Maldon & Tiptree Football Club by the Drewitt-Barlow family and organisation. The stadium, clubhouse and surrounding areas have undergone much needed updating. From inside to out the stadium is unrecognisable from what the new owners inherited with modernisation taking place across the venue.

The 2,800 capacity stadium host’s a wide range of events at the stadium, located on Park Drive, Maldon which hosts a range of entertainment events throughout the year su h as concerts, tribute, comedy and bingo nights. Alongside it’s year round use as a football stadium. 

The newly opened (March 2025) ‘Jammers Sports Bar’ saw the smaller of the two bars in the club house turned into a sports fans dream. With large UHD crystal clear televisions across the walls, dart boards, table tennis, updated stylish furniture and a complete overaul of the bar, it is the perfect place to host a party or event of any type and is available for private hire. 

The larger of the two bars (which can be opened up and the spaces create a huge events space) is a more formal setting for events and with it’s large open space is perfect for large parties but also more formal sit down events. The area has been done our in stylish new furniture and in soon to be completely overhauled the same standard as the Jammers Sports Bar next door.

Maldon & Tiptree Football Club

The inside of the football stadium itself has received a complete overhaul. With historical issue’s fixed. Stands updated in the theme of the football club. Area’s such as the players changing rooms and dugouts brought upto specification. 

Day to day there is further ongoing work taking place around the ground which will see it enter the 2025/26 season with a place travelling fans will love to visit and see. It also ensures the club is ready to compete on the pitch which is now being treated with love and care by the clubs new full time groundsmen.
