Luca Savill Signs His First Contract
Maldon & Tiptree Football Club are delighted to announce that Luca Savill has signed a contract with the first-team. Luca broke through to the first team earlier this season after impressing in Kenzer Lee’s Jammers Academy team. After making seven first team appearances, Luca has now committed his future to the Jammers.
Luca arrived at the Drewitt-Barlow Stadium in 2025 from Needham Market, following the formation of the new, Jammers Academy. Since arriving Luca has impressed for the Academy, scoring 7 goals in as many appearances.
Speaking on Luca’s new contact, Academy Director Liam Bailey said “Luca has worked incredibly hard, shown real dedication, and taken his opportunity with the first team when it came. Making seven senior appearances and now earning a long-term contract is fully deserved.
His journey is a great example of what we want our academy to be about young players making that step up into the first team. We’re extremely proud of Luca and excited to see him continue his development with Maldon & Tiptree.”
First Team Manager, Kevin Horlock added “Luca is an exciting young player that has so much potential. We are looking forward to continuing working with him and helping him in reaching that potential at the Drewitt-Barlow Stadium”.
